The studio
Your interior designer in Marrakech: and a process built for distance
One studio, a 5-step method and written commitments.

Marrakech Interiors is deliberately small: one founding designer, a network of craftsmen tested project after project, and targeted partners (architect, engineering office, photographer) brought in when the project requires them. No sales team, no cascading subcontractors: the person who designs your project is the person who runs it.
Background
Trained in interior design in France, based in Marrakech for over ten years. Long enough to know the fair price of a square metre of zellige, which tadelakt master's work still looks perfect after ten years, and which suppliers actually deliver on the promised date. The studio works in English and French for clients across the UK, the US, France and Morocco.
Three convictions that shape the work
- Prices are stated upfront. Every page of this site shows real ranges; every quote lists every item. A client who discovers a cost mid-project is a client we have failed.
- Authenticity is not scenography. Moroccan style is built through restrained choices with real craftsmen, not by piling up souk objects. A riad is not a themed restaurant.
- Distance is not the obstacle: opacity is. A client 3,000 km away with a weekly documented report is better informed than a client on site with no method.
The 5-step process
1. Discovery call: free
Thirty minutes on video: your property, how you will use it, your target budget, your timeline. We tell you plainly whether the project is realistic: and if we are not the right studio for it, we tell you that too.
2. Concept & moodboard: weeks 1–3
Art direction, moodboards per space, material palette. Approved by video call or in person. Nothing is bought and nothing is committed until the concept feels like yours.
3. Plans & detailed budget: weeks 3–6
2D/3D plans, technical specification, compared contractor quotes, line-by-line budget in € and MAD, dated schedule with milestones. This document locks the project: what is written is what gets paid.
4. Works & supervision: project-dependent
Trade coordination, ordering and purchasing, quality control. Photo/video report every Friday, monthly live video call from the site, payments released against verified milestones. This is the heart of our remote design service.
5. Installation & styling: final week
Room-by-room acceptance, furniture installation, final styling and professional photo shoot. You receive a complete handover file: warranties, craftsmen contacts, material care guide.
Why you will find no fake reviews here
If you have searched for the best-rated interior designers in Marrakech, you have probably noticed something: fabricated testimonials are an epidemic in this market (template names, stock praise). Our rule, applied to the letter on this site: no testimonial, no site photograph and no performance figure we cannot prove. That is also why you will find no project gallery here: we publish nothing without the owner's written consent. What we can show, we show in person, with the owners' consent. Judge us on how we work and on a first conversation, not on stars you cannot verify.
Frequently asked questions
Are you a decorator or an interior architect?
An interior designer, partnered with a licensed architect for anything structural or requiring permits. You keep a single point of contact; each profession stays within its legal and technical scope.
Do you work alone or with a team?
A human-scale studio: the founding designer conceives and runs every project, supported by a permanent site assistant and specialist partners as needed. We deliberately cap the number of simultaneous projects.
What guarantees do you offer on the works?
The contractors we coordinate are contractually bound on their trades (completion warranty; ten-year structural warranty where applicable under Moroccan law). And we stay reachable after handover: tadelakt cracking at six months is our problem too.
