What we do in Marrakech, by property type
Method, materials and craftspeople, property type by property type. No client project published without consent.

One thing first, because it explains this page: we never publish a client's project without their written consent. Many of our sites are private homes and rentals whose owners would rather not see their interiors online. So instead of a gallery of images borrowed from elsewhere: common practice in this trade: here is exactly what we do, on which kinds of property, with which materials and which craftspeople. If you want to see projects, ask: we show them in person, with the owners' agreement.

Medina riads
A riad is the most demanding site in Marrakech: old fabric, no truck access, rising damp, earth-and-lime structures that the wrong craftsman damages for good.
Our work covers second fix and interior design: floors and walls, tadelakt, zellige, cedar joinery restored or remade to match, plumbing and wiring brought up to standard, courtyard and rooftop. On guesthouses we treat every bedroom as a complete unit: bed, storage, bathroom, lighting: because that is the unit a guest actually books.
The one thing that decides a riad project: surveying before quoting. We do not price a scheme without knowing what is behind the wall.

Villas

Targa, Palmeraie, Ourika road, Amelkis: villas are won or lost on the indoor-outdoor relationship. Terraces, poolside, covered patios and winter salons matter as much as the main rooms.
We commission bespoke furniture from Marrakech workshops: ironwork, wood, upholstery: rather than importing: at equal quality it usually costs less, and it can be repaired locally. For second homes we hand over ready to live in: linen, tableware, everything in place on arrival.
Apartments

Gueliz, Hivernage, Majorelle, Agdal: tight floor areas, clear budgets, short deadlines. This is where a turnkey package earns its place: we hand over furnished, equipped and working, including for owners who have never set foot in the property.
Our rule on small floor areas: few pieces, but the right ones, and storage everywhere the plan allows.
Short-term rentals & Airbnb

A short-term rental is not decorated like a home: it is designed for the listing photograph, for durability, and for what a traveller notices in ten seconds of scrolling.
So we start from the listing: which images will exist, which one comes first, from which angle. Then the furniture: hard-wearing, replaceable piece by piece: and the professional shoot, included in the package.
Home staging before a sale

An empty or cluttered property sells badly and, above all, photographs badly. Staging is a short, deliberately light intervention: rented furniture, depersonalising, lighting, a photo shoot. The point is not to rebuild the property but to make it easy to imagine living in.
How we work, whatever the property
- Local craftspeople, properly paid. Tadelakt, zellige, bejmat, ironwork, cedar: Morocco's best craft is here, as long as you do not buy on lowest price.
- No hidden margin on purchases. Supplier invoices are passed to you as they are; our fee is our only income.
- Payment against verified milestones. No craftsman is paid without photographic evidence of the matching progress.
- Local before catalogue. A Moroccan interior that works is not a postcard set: it is real material, light, and three or four well-placed craft gestures.
