Privacy: what happens to your request
What you enter in the “Describe my project” tool. Short version: we keep your answers to get back to you about your project, nothing else.
Who handles your data
The publisher of the Marrakech Interiors website (marrakech-interiors.com), interior design studio in Marrakech (Morocco). Contact for any data question: WhatsApp +212 639 940 408.
What is recorded
- your answers: property type, project, area, budget in mind, timing, your role (owner, buyer…) and whether you would like a discovery video call;
- your first name, your WhatsApp number and, if you prefer a reply by email, your email address;
- the date of the request and of your consent, the language, a short reference, your time zone, the page where you entered the site, the site you came from and, if present in the link, campaign parameters;
- an encrypted fingerprint of your IP address (never the address itself), only to limit abuse.
The tool asks for no postal address, no ID and no floor plan.
Why
To get back to you about your project: clarify the brief, offer a discovery video call and send you a quote. Legal basis: your consent, given by ticking the box in the tool. Without it, nothing is sent.
Where, who sees it and for how long
In a file stored with the website’s host, outside the public part of the site, accessible only to the site’s publisher. Answers are kept for at most 12 months after our last exchange, then deleted. They are never sold, shared with third parties or used for advertising.
WhatsApp and email
At the end of the tool, WhatsApp opens with a pre-written summary. You send it yourself: the conversation then goes through WhatsApp (Meta), whose privacy policy applies. If you choose email, your own mail app opens and sends the message.
On your device
So that you can resume an interrupted request, the tool keeps your choices in your browser’s local storage for at most 7 days; the landing page is kept for the duration of the visit. The site currently uses no advertising cookies and no analytics tool.
Your rights
You can ask to see, correct or delete your data, object to its processing or withdraw your consent, with a simple WhatsApp message to +212 639 940 408. Framework: Moroccan law 09-08 (CNDP) and, for people living in the European Union, the GDPR.
